You’ve all gotten emails about the new pet at Crozier Center for Women and, hopefully, many of you have vistied this adorable creature. He’s furry and sweet, and he made for a perfect Campus Cutie to interview. Read on to meet Ollie, the Crozier bunny.Â
Name: Ollie (Oliver)
Age: Not sure
Year: Freshman!
Hometown: Hilliard, OH
Activities: Eating lettuce and hay, hopping around Crozier, greeting my visitors, hiding under couches
HCK: Where did you live before you came to Kenyon?
O: Well, my owners adopted me from the Capital Area Humane Society in Hilliard, but before that I lived on my own around the neighborhood.
HCK: How were you approved to live in a Kenyon residence?
O: This has actually taken my owners around eight months to accomplish. First, they wanted rats, but it turns out that rabbits make great therapy animals and can also be potty-trained. And, unlike most of the other dorms/apartments on campus, the Crozier Center doesn’t share any air vents with other buildings, so allergies weren’t a problem either.
HCK: How are you enjoying Kenyon so far?
O: I love it! I was a little shy around people at first, but now as long as you have a piece of lettuce (or anything else, really), I’ll come right up to you. I get tons of room to stretch out at Crozier. Plus, I’m already a celebrity.
HCK: Okay, thanks for your time, Ollie!
O: No problem. Come to my office hours on Fridays and be sure to like my Facebook page!
