Kenyon Joins the Online RegistraFUN

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kenyon chapter.

With online registration now in full effect, Kenyon ladies are getting excited about their plans for the spring semester. We asked freshmen Elizabeth Lybrand and Kylah Rymond about their ideal semesters, and a little bit about the professors they’ve clicked with in their first two months at Kenyon.

Elizabeth:
My favorite professors this semester are Thomas Hawks for English and Irene Lopez for psych. They were both very interactive and enthusiastic. They also treated students like adults. Next semester I want to take women’s and gender studies.

Kylah:
It’s a tossup between Siobhan Fennessey for bio and Jennifer Smith for chem lab. They’re both approachable and highly intelligent. They’re all around awesome folks. For next semester I want to take Bio 116, something about biomedical or biophysical, and an English class.

Here’s hoping the system doesn’t crash in your race to fill up your schedule!

Caroline Black is a senior Drama major at Kenyon College. In addition to co-founding and writing for her school's HC branch, Caroline is co-president of Beer and Sex, Kenyon's student-run freshman orientation program (and she enjoys making jokes about that title as much as you do). When she's not doing hippy-dippy acting warm-ups or volunteering with her service organization, The Archon Society, Caroline enjoys watching "Parks and Recreation" and dismaying her friends with terrible puns.
