HC Kenyon: What are you involved with on campus?
 
Alex: I’m a Beer and Sex advisor, a Sexual Misconduct Advisor, pledge chair of Archons, a Ransom Note, and I’m in the Company.
 
HC Kenyon: How does Archon pledging compare to the depiction of rush on the ABC Family series, Greek?

Alex: You definitely have to make out with a lot of hot people to get into Archons. But really, it’s not that hard: we don’t haze you, so I guess that’s a big difference. We hug you.
 
HC Kenyon: I hear the Archon all-campus party theme for this year is BeyoncĂ©’s Baby Shower. What’s your costume looking like?

Alex: So far I have Jay-Z. I think I may be Daddy Jay-Z with a Baby Björn. 
 
HC Kenyon: Are you going to decorate the Baby Björn?

Alex: There’s gonna be some serious bling. I’ll make sure the Club 50-50 logo [Jay’z club in NYC] is affixed to the baby.
 
HC Kenyon: The Ransom Notes are Kenyon’s newest acapella group– how did you guys get together?

Alex: I’m actually a new member this year, but a couple of intrepid kids who wanted a more fun acapella experience put the group together last year. The idea behind us is to just to be ridiculous and have a fun time.
HC Kenyon: If the Ransom Notes was a fragrance, what would it smell like?

Alex: Well there’s a skunk ten feet away from where I’m sitting right now, so all I can think of is skunk…but I would say lavender. Lavender with a hint of rosemary. That’s our personality.
 
HC Kenyon: On that NOTE (double pun!), what’s your musk?

Alex: That’s a really good question. The smell of choice right now is Old Kenyon bedroom, but I’ve been working on showering. And if I feel fancy, of course, Michael Kors by Michael Kors.
 
HC Kenyon: Your hair looks super shiny–do you condition?

Alex: No, I’ve never used conditioner before in my life, but I shower twice a day. I guess it looks shiny because it’s always wet– not in a greasy way, in a drying way.
 
HC Kenyon: Parks and Recreation or Community? 

Alex: Parks and Recreation, definitely. There’s no question. I would really want to drink Snake Juice at Entertainment 720.
 
HC Kenyon: Who’s your favorite character?

Alex: Tom Haverford’s just a great character. I saw Aziz Ansari this summer and he was amazing. 
 
HC Kenyon: How do you plan to use your celebrity for the betterment of mankind?

Alex: I definitely could probably feed some children. But while I’m at it, I’d use my celebrity to make sure that everyone has seen the “Countdown” video…you know, so everyone has something to strive for.
