Well Played, Peirce

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kenyon chapter.

So Peirce has been amazing lately…amirite? Kudos to you, AVI (speaking of which…remember Kudos bars?). I would venture to say that both the Chinese New Year event and Mexican night were pretty well-played. Peirce made up for its misstep in serving pad thai on Chinese night by serving those pre-opened Jarritos a couple of nights later. You’re on a roll, Peirce!

I haven’t had as many occasions to concoct my own meals lately because I’ve been enjoying the options laid out before me, but here are a couple that I’ve especially enjoyed over the past couple of weeks:
Kale with feta and scallions.  This kale has been such a game changer recently.

Whole wheat pasta (ask for it plain), olive oil, feta, cherry tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, and chicken from the salad bar (not always available but you have to jump on it when it is!).

Happy Peirce-ing!

In addition to co-founding and writing for her school's HC branch, Caroline is co-president of Beer and Sex, Kenyon's student-run freshman orientation program (and she enjoys making jokes about that title as much as you do). When she's not doing hippy-dippy acting warm-ups or volunteering with her service organization, The Archon Society, Caroline enjoys watching "Parks and Recreation" and dismaying her friends with terrible puns.
