Peirce Hall is basically Kenyon’s version of a Student Union. It’s a great place to run into friends and to people watch, but obviously the most important aspect of Peirce is the food. With so many options available, it can be hard sticking with a meal from just one station, but have you ever wondered what your choice of Peirce station says about you as a person? Well, we have. Let’s find out!
Hearth
You’re all about the basics. You find comfort in the monotony of doing things over and over again, day after day. Though a little ornamentation in the form of apples and craisons on pita pizza never hurt anybody. More than anything, you hate standing in line; you just want to get your food quickly and go.
Fusion
You’re Hearth’s exact opposite. You don’t mind the substantial waits in lines for a good meal. You’re more of a hands-on kind of person, and like to have your own say in what you do and what you eat.
Comfort
Fusion and International lovers may see you as an average Joe, but you prefer to describe yourself as a “meat and potatoes” kind of person. You may also get homesick sometimes, but that’s okay, because you know how to pacify it. There’s nothing like Comfort’s roast beef or grilled chicken that can give you that home-cooked feeling.
International
You are never afraid to try new things, even if you may not be able to pronounce them. You are a very exact person. A perfect plate of food can be ruined with too much salt or too little Sriracha. You get a little pit in the bottom of your stomach whenever you see grilled cheese on the international menu, though; who decided that typical American food qualified as “international?”
Vegetarian
You’re a vegetarian. Ed: Or all the lines are way too long and you a v impatient and hungry person, and are proud to admit it!
Soup, Salad, and Sandwich
You have a very difficult time making up your mind sometimes. You consider the Panini press to be your best friend.
So there you have it! What you eat at Peirce can say a lot more about you than just your taste buds. Where do you fit in at the servery?
