If you’re like me, you have a massive sweet tooth and not a lot of time to make yourself something to satisfy it. Even though I love baking, it can be tricky when I’m not in the mood or don’t know what to make. Below are five of the best treats to make this fall, arranged in order from least to most difficult/time-consuming.

#1. Salted Caramel Ice Cream

Now, I know making ice cream sounds like it would be hard. There are many ways, however, to avoid most of the difficulty in the process. The main reason why this recipe is in the easiest spot, is because you don’t need an ice cream churn. Without the churn, it makes the salted caramel ice cream super user friendly and easy to make, only taking about 15 minutes. It is the perfect fall treat on those days when the weather is a little warmer and you want something sweet. Keep in mind, it has to be made a while in advance so the ice cream has time to set. When it is ready however, it is easy to keep in your freezer for a fun and cold caramel treat!

#2. Pumpkin Bread

Pumpkin bread had to make it on the list. This fall staple is loved by many and it is super easy to make. It depends on which recipes you use, but it should roughly only take 20 to 30 minutes to put together. Pumpkin bread is perfect for a fall breakfast or snack. It is soft and can be warmed up for a more cozy feeling. Not only will you be making delicious bread, but you’ll be filling the space with the smells of spices and the smells of autumn. It should make around two loaves, perfect to share with friends.

#3. Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Cheesecake itself is one of my favorite desserts. It’s light, fluffy, and always very tasty. It comes to no surprise that this cinnamon chocolate chip cheesecake stole my heart. It combines the best of both worlds, cinnamon and chocolate, resulting in a decadent and delicious dessert. You can always pair cheesecake with whipped cream, however I recommend leaving this dessert the way it is. Making this treat should take around 30 minutes. The flavors speak for themselves and get you in that fall mood. Once you take a bite out of this, you’ll never want to put it down!

#4. Peanut Butter Caramel Fudge Brownies

When I hear the word, “brownies,” I immediately get excited. As a strong chocolate lover, it’s hard to beat a good fudgy brownie. When you add caramel and peanut butter, these brownies transform into a masterpiece. Making this recipe takes about 30 to 40 minutes, however you could cut the time down by getting boxed brownie mix instead of starting completely from scratch. One component you should make though is the caramel. Homemade caramel tastes, in my opinion, much better than store bought. This will give the brownies a stronger flavor and make them even more irresistible.

#5. Cinnamon Cupcakes with Cinnamon Buttercream

This last dessert I put at number five because it is a little more time consuming and difficult to make. There are a few more components you have to do, like making the cupcakes and buttercream, but they are so delicious that it is worth it in the end. If you time it right, you can work on the buttercream after you take the cupcakes out of the oven, giving them time to cool down before putting the buttercream on top. It should take an hour or so to put everything together, so this is definitely more of a weekend activity. Taking a bite of these cinnamon treats will make you wonder why you have never made them before.
