As busy college girls, we have all become well acquainted with the snooze button. No matter how many times we have promised ourselves that we would get up a little bit early to have time to perfect our hair and make-up, let’s face it that rarely happens. Luckily, there is a way to walk out of the door in the morning feeling your best. If you have a few minutes to spare in the morning before you dash to class, you can achieve this simple, make-up look using five quick and easy items. It may sound crazy but these are the most reliable items in your make-up bag that will help you sleep a little later while still looking put together.
1.      Step One
After you’ve finished your daily foundation or concealer application (or if you’re lucky, neither), make sure to add your favorite blush to your cheeks. Blush is a crucial item for a multitude of reasons. Not only does it come in a variety of pretty shades but it helps give you a flushed look that will make you look wide awake even in the early hours of the day. Whether you reach for a powder or cream blush, you are guaranteed to have a little more depth to your face when you use this item.

2.      Step Two
It’s time for one of the most important features on your face, the eyes. Eye make-up is a vital part of your day because that is what people see the most when they talk to you. Going all natural to class is totally fine but if that is a little out of your comfort zone, try utilizing liquid eyeliner. Liquid eyeliner is a life saver in many situations due to its flexibility. If you are feeling the need to look a little nicer to class, but still need your extra sleep, try a cute and quick cat eye. By winging out your eyeliner, your eyes will feel fancy all day without the need of eye shadows or other eye enhancing cosmetics.

3.      Step Three
Mascara has been our faithful friend since we first learned how to do make-up. It may seem like an obvious choice but it is an item that can immediately change the way you look. Applying one coat or many is optional but without mascara, our lashes tend to blend in with the rest of our face. Enhance their length and they will give your eyes and extra boost along with their friend, liquid eyeliner.

4.      Step Four
Make sure you don’t deny your lips of some much needed color. On days when you are feeling a little extra sleepy, there is nothing that can boost your spirits like a nice shade of lipstick. Whether you choose to go bold with a red shade or keep it simple with more of a subtle pink, you will surely feel more put together with a coat of lipstick. Since there aren’t many items in this make-up look, lipstick will pull it all together and be the perfect finishing piece to your look.

5.      Step Five
Pick something that makes you feel your best. For every different person this choice varies. You can add a sun-kissed bronzer, light-reflecting highlighter, or chose to fill in your eyebrows. Whatever the item you choose is, make sure it is something that makes you feel like you can conquer the world that day while also being quick and simple.
