Many college campuses across the country have adopted April as the month to celebrate and bring awareness to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans* (LGBT) community. Traditionally, October is LGBT history month and June is gay pride month, but Gaypril combines both into one month that can be celebrated during the academic year.
