Sarah Stephens, KU senior, spends 11 hours a day on campus. If you combine her
classes and her on campus job most of her day is spent on top of Mt. Oread. Since the school week keeps her incredibly busy, she carries all of her college essentials with her in her bag.
She never leaves home without her polka dotted backpack.
A large portion of her bag is devoted to homework. She keeps her homework folders in her bag so she can stay on top of her work in between classes and work. Getting it done while she’s still on campus gives her free time when she gets home.
This collegiate busy bee has to keep a planner in her bag. She says that her whole day is outlined in her little pink planner. She writes down what assignments need to be done and keeps track of her work schedule.
Sarah also brings along her lunch daily. Since eating on campus every day can be pretty pricey, Sarah packs a lunch and a snack so she can save a few bucks.
A new issue of The University Daily Kansan is always in her bag. She likes to read the FFA’s and do the puzzles while she waits on her next class or the few times when she gets bored.
This is what Sarah has in her bag. What’s in yours? Tell Her Campus Kansas what’s in your bag.
