The Stanley Cup Playoffs begin this week and what better way to celebrate then admire the beautiful men in the sport? While I predict that the Kings and Caps will be the final two teams, I have a feeling the Kings will take it all the way! Bringing home three Stanley Cup wins in 5 years?? (I may be a little biased I’ll admit)
Â
Just because I think the Kings are going to take it home, doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate some of the other players in the playoffs! Here are some of the MANY hunky hockey players competing for the Cup:

My very first NHL crush is easy on the eyes and an incredible hockey player! He is one of the Kings assistant captains and wears the number 77. Lets all take a moment to appreciate the tall drink of water that is Jeff Carter

Jonathan Toews is the Captain of the Chicago Blackhawks. I honestly wouldn’t mind being in his company in the windy city! He’s an incredibly honest and humble leader of his team and I mean his smile how can you not love him??

Henrik Zetterberg

Swedish
This left wing centerman from the Detroit Red Wings is definitely giving off the rugged lumbersexual feel that we all are in love with at the moment! He’s also the CAPTAIN of the Red Wings. (is being incredibly good looking a requirement for captains???)
Â
I mean WOW

Tom Wilson

½ of my current hockey bromance obsession is this hot hot man. He’s roommates with the other ½ of my heart, Michael Latta, and their interactions will just make your day! He’s number 43 on the Washington Capitals and their season has just been INCREDIBLE. He’s sweet, laid back, and really just enjoying an amazing hockey career at the young age of 22.

Oh Michael Latta. If I’m being honest I totally bought a Latta and Wilson shirt (and wearing it as I type). Latta is number 46 on the Caps and an incredible fighter: he rarely gets taken down. He’s as equally as sweet as Wilson and their outlook on life and enjoying what they have while they’re young, is goals.

André was once a fellow roomie of Wilson and Latta. He is another super young guy that is incredible at what he does and LOOKS incredible while doing it!

Braden Holtby

I don’t know what it is but the Caps have a team STACKED with gorgeous men!!
Goalie of the Caps, Holtby has had one hell of a season! He tied the record of most single-win record by a goaltender by winning 48 games. He could have surpassed this record last Sunday by playing against the Ducks, but he took a break and the back up goalie got some playing time. What a classy guy Holtby is!

Kris Letang

Letang is a defenseman on the Pittsburgh Penguins, wearing the number 58. While he kind of reminds me of a hockey version of Tim Riggins, I am going to be honest here, I don’t know much about the Penguins like I do the other teams I have discussed. But I mean if they have Letang on the team AND they are in the playoffs, they must not be doing all that bad!

Beau Bennett

This handsome American is currently on the Penguins as well! He’s from California and the team calls him “Sunshine”, you know like the Remember the Titans guy??
Â
Â
Jonathan Tavares

Number 91 on the New York Islanders and is also another Captain to add on to the list! I don’t know how I missed him when I was in New York but I’ll be sure to keep my eyes out in the future! He also shoots left (can I get an amen to all my other fellow left-handers?)

Yes hockey players are definitely tall drinks of water, but honestly they are also the most classy and definitely the toughest athletes around. Good luck to all of the teams but ultimately, GO KINGS GO!
