Okay huns, it’s that time of the year again and no, I don’t mean Christmas (not yet anyway although we are EXTREMELY close, eek!). It’s black Friday which means sales, sales, sales, and more sales! It can be so confusing being marketed to by so many brands that you can end up just buying for the sake of it. (Don’t. You need that money, not that top that looks like your other 7 in your wardrobe.) But, I am totally aware that you need to treat yourself and what better time than when *tehe* sales are hot? If that’s still not enough to convince you, you could always use it to get ahead of your Christmas shopping!

To help you out I’ve compiled a list of some of the best deals I’ve found or seen advertised (Instagram advertising is at its PEAK this week!)

P.S. You’re not a shopaholic, you’re helping the economy.

As well as your mental health (retail therapy is a THING.), and with all these deadlines coming up…You do need it. Whatever it is you’re eyeing up. Take it from me. You deserve it.

Topshop: Up to 50% off everything

Best for: Coats and Jackets

Topshop always has such a great selection of quality coats, from parkas to puffas, to trench to rainmacs. Whatever season it is (although you pretty much always need a coat in Lancaster!!) Topshop never fails to disappoint. But coats are expensive, investment pieces that you want to be quality.

This yellow hooded puffer jacket is PERFECT this time of year with such a vibrant colour to add energy to those dull winter days. Reduced 50% (I know?!) to only £29.99. *Adds to basket*

Boux Avenue: Up to 40% off nightwear and lingerie, 20% off everything

Best for: Cosy Christmas PJ’s and gifts

I have a love affair with Boux Avenue, especially their sleepwear. They have the cutest designs in the softest materials that make you want to wear them all day and all night. (Guilty as charged.) They also have the best selection of gifts all year round, from slippers to gorgeous smelling sprays, so they are perfect for Secret Santa gifts or stocking fillers!

Christmas PJ’s are a must for the holidays and would you look at how adorable these are (and just imagine how soft!). Reduced 40% to £12, they really are everything a girl wants for Christmas.

Jack Wills: Up to 50% off everything

Best for: Luxury comfort

Jack Wills has always been that brand that I’ve loved. Then hated. Then loved. Then hated. They’ve really vamped up their designs in the past year and are moving away from the generic designer-look to more individual street styles.

Their hoodies and sweaters (although pricey) are good quality basics that you can throw on whenever – perfect for long uni days. In love with this simplistic sporty design. Would definitely be a well used gift. Reduced by £15.00, this gorgeous luxury hoodie is on sale for £44.96.

Gymshark: Up to 70% off everything

Best for: Sportswear

Gymshark’s blackout offers a up to a massive 70% off everything but most things are reduced by 30-50%. With high price tags, sales are probably the best time to buy (or hint!) from Gymshark.

In my opinion, the best purchase from Gymshark would be the leggings. Perfect for working out but also able to wear all year, and versatile to many sports.

These are available for 70% off priced at £9.60, reduced from £32! (P.S. GymShark restock their Blackout so keep a tab open and keep refreshing if sold out!

Missguided: Up to 40% off, 20% off everything

Best for: Dresses

Missguided, Boohoo, ASOS, PrettyLittleThing. They all LOVE black Friday/cyber Monday so get on the hype! Their deals throughout the year are always fabulous so expect big things this week and over the weekend!

For these websites, deals come and go CONSTANTLY, so keep checking their websites for the latest bargain (always remember to consider student discount!) Probably the best for buying your Christmas and New Year (No, its not too early hun!!) dresses with all the glitz and glam for affordable prices.

Check out this STUNNING rose gold maxi dress reduced to £36.00 from £60.00 (21st Nov.2018).

Shein: 30% off everything

Best for: Fashion on a budget

SHEIN is a dark horse. And 30% off clothes that are already so affordable really is a bargain. Don’t expect high quality, but for the price, it is worth ordering a few pieces to add some individuality to your wardrobe. SHEIN is unique and on-trend. If you take the time to look, you’ll find some really unique, fashionable items that you probably would not find on the high-street.

It was SO difficult for me to choose one thing because SHEIN is great in lots of areas but this darling jumpsuit caught my eye! It’s STUNNING and at 50% off priced at £17.00, you’ll look like a princess.

Hi I'm Hannah and I'm in my first year studying Advertising and Marketing at Lancaster. I'm a little bit obsessed with my cat, sunsets and doughnuts (and the occasional smoothie wouldn't go a miss either!!) I always try and see the good and I think that's really important, especially at uni when everything is changing and it can seem a little scary. Whatever you’re going through, the most important thing is to remember there is always a silver lining : always. You have to look for the good and think positively (I know how hard this is sometimes) but thoughts create reality. Everything happens for a reason: keep faith that everything will work itself out. Let yourself feel, have courage and be kind. Aside from silver linings, I'd love to talk about all things girly, fashion, cosmetics, baking, homeware, stationary and of course the ups and downs of life in general. Lots of love always: stay positive Han x
