Now that both Halloween and Bonfire Night have passed us by, it is that time. Christmas is coming!
Some might say that it is still too early to get excited and to be buying presents, but this year I am so ready. I have a multitude of presents bought, having had each on my mind for months now.ย
Christmas is the time of joy and cheer, and there’s no better time to enjoy the festivities than the present.
The Manchester Christmas Markets will begin this weekend, exciting! They are the highlight of the Christmas time for me, even if I never buy anything but delicious German hotdogs, Nutella-filled mini pancakes and mulled wine in those collectable annual Manchester Christmas Markets mugs. Plus, the gianormous blow-up Santa Claus has been sat on the top of Manchester Cathedral for weeks now! It’s time to light him up and revel in the marvel of Christmas-time!
Although it’s still Autumn, it is well and truly cold enough (at least in Lancaster!) to call it Winter. The fluffy socks are on, as are the earmuffs, faux-fur stoles and trendy maxi coats. Get yourself a hot mug of spiced latte, curl in front of the TV with your housemates and stick on a Christmas film – I personally recommend The Holiday Calendar on Netflix, it was cheesy but I loved it!
