Celebrities’ Best Halloween Costumes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

Although Halloween is way past over, the only thing I like more than dressing up on Halloween is seeing all the outrageous costumes celebrities wear. I don’t blame them though. If I had that money I’d go all out too. Here are some of my favorites from the week’s festivities.

  • Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas:

Our favorite Hollywood power couple dressed as our favorite fictional power couple. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas were Gomez and Morticia Addams. To really get into character, a video shows Turner cutting rosebuds of the stems while walking down the hall.

  • Halsey:

Halsey is known for her extravagant costumes and over the top annual Halloween party. This year’s theme was Gotham City villains. Halsey dressed as a super-sexy Poison Ivy, but it doesn’t end there. She also did Uma Thurman’s gorilla dance from the 1997 flick Batman & Robin.

  • Nicky Hilton Rothschild:

While most celebrities spend hundreds or even thousands on a costume, Nicky Hilton Rothschild found her costume in her little sister’s closet. Hilton Rothschild went as her little sister in her iconic 21st birthday ensemble.

  • Rita Ora:

Rita Ora went outside the box this Halloween. The first time I saw the photos I had to do a double take. Ora’s Post Malone costume is spot on, right down to the face tatts.

  • Harry Styles:

Until Gucci Suit Day becomes an officially recognized holiday, Halloween was made for Harry Styles. This year Styles channeled  his inner Elton John by wearing the dazzling Dodgers’ uniform from his 1975 Dodgers Stadium concert.

Raegan Cleary is a senior at Lasell College studying Fashion Communication and Promotion. She likes French Bulldogs and long walks to Chipotle. In addition to Her Campus shes been doing theatre for eight years and this spring she'll be in her fourth production of Vagina Monologues. In the future she'd love to become the next Miranda Priestly or the frontwoman in a girl-punk band.
