After Fall Out Boy announced their hiatus in 2009, many were doubtful the band would ever get back together. In 2013, 10 years after their debut album, they announced their return with their fifth studio album, Save Rock and Roll. Two years later, they released their follow-up album titled American Beauty/American Psycho. Recently, Fall Out Boy announced their seventh album M A N I A.
Last week, Fall Out Boy sent their fans in Chicago on a scavenger hunt, promising that it would unveil something huge. On April 27, the band shared their latest single âYoung and Menace,â along with announcing their album, Â which will come out Sept. 15 and announced a tour to go along with M A N I A âs release. Pre-sale begins May 1 and sale to the general public will be May 5 on Ticketmaster. $1 from each ticket sold will go to the bandâs new charity, the Fall Out Boy Fund, which supports charities in the Chicago area.
