Mackenzie Maron is a freshman at Lasell and the definition of unique, whether it is coming from her hilarious personality or from her overall kindness toward others. Maron is currently involved in Chorus, Drama Club, and Tomorrow’s Teachers. She recently participated in Vagina Monologues and will be starring in Radium Girls and Nevertheless she Persisted later in April. Maron is an Education major who wishes to work with elementary age kids in the fifth and third grade. She believes this is where she can make the biggest impact.
If Maron could be anywhere in the world right now she would definitely go to Disney. She has been to Disney more than 10 times and wants to keep going every year of her life. She says her love for Disney stems from her childhood with an inspiration from her father who is also a major Disney fan.
“I remember a time when all my parents had to do was put me in front of the TV with a Disney movie and I was glued for hours to the screen,” she said.
What gives Maron the ability to be so unique and do what she loves is her support system; whether it’s from her amazing parents or from the friends she has made at school, Maron always feels loved and supported and it’s not hard to see why. After being around Maron for just a few minutes, you will feel the effects of her infectious, bubbly, and genuine personality and want to be her friend too. She says the one quote that really drives her in life is “If you can dream it, you can do it” and she intends to follow all of her dreams in life.
