Seven months after their debut album, Landmark, indie band Hippo Campus released a new EP titled Warm Glow. The EP includes the song “Baseball” which the band began playing live over a year ago. Also included are two new songs called “Traveler” and the title track, “Warm Glow.” A few weeks earlier, Hippo Campus dropped hints about the release when lead singer Jake Luppen changed his name on Twitter to Johnny Baseball.
At the end of the month, Hippo Campus begin their Fall European tour in Milan, Italy and the U.S leg starts in late October. It doesn’t end there though. Along with announcing their EP, Hippo Campus announced a winter tour kicking off mid-January, which includes a free show at Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den in Uncasville, Conn.
