Justin Bieber Keeps Screwing Up on Instagram (But Are We Surprised?)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

Oh, April Fools Day, a time for harmless pranks right? Well, it looks like Justin Bieber missed the “don’t joke about pregnancy because it’s insensitive” memo. On April 1, Bieber posted a photo of a sonogram on his Instagram implying that wife Hailey Baldwin was pregnant. This left fans confused. While most figured he was joking, some thought he might be serious, because who would actually joke about that? Infertility is serious. According to the CDC approximately 12% of women ages 15-44 struggle or will struggle with getting pregnant.

To keep the illusion alive, Biebs then posted a picture of Baldwin at what appeared to be a pregnancy check-up with the caption “If U thought it was April fools.” Except it was an April Fools, shortly after Bieber posted one final photo, a sonogram with a puppy photoshopped over it, with the caption “Wait omg is that a,,, APRIL FOOLS.”  Classy, real classy Biebs.

You would think that Bieber learned his lesson, but just a few days later his ‘Gram was under fire again. Recently Bieber launched a clothing line, Drew House which features a lot of neutrals and some tie-dye. When he saw that Diddy posted an old photo with a similar aesthetic, he reposted it with the hashtag #diddyfordrewhouse- without realizing the photo was a tribute to Diddy’s late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter. Many in the comments were urging Biebs to delete the photo he was quick to defend his post saying it was a “sick photo” and he was appreciating the art

. Well, third time’s a charm, right? Hopefully, Justin Bieber learned his lesson and will be more careful with what he posts on social media in the future.
