With every new season that comes along, more brands across the globe release products catered to every single person you can imagine. Season changes are my favorite times of the year, as new launches mean new sales and new products on the market for me to try. And as someone who is in love with the concept of self-care, I’ve grown to have a special appreciation for makeup and skincare. Skincare makes me feel so relaxed and makeup acts as a medium for me to express myself. Recently, I’ve been getting into K-Beauty (Korean beauty). I have stubborn, dry skin and love the concept of “my face but better”, so when my roommate suggested I try Korean beauty products to help my skin and achieve the look I was going for, I had to spend my coin. So here I’m putting my top products from K-Beauty brands that I’ve been looking forward to trying.
Skincare:
Now as a dry skin girly, I really enjoy products that have hydrating properties. Things like niacinamide, hyaluronic acids, and squalene are what I tend to go for when looking for products, and since the sun is starting to peak out, most of these will be sunscreens. Unfortunately, your girl is late in the game when it comes to skincare, and most if not all of these are already released in the United States. But here are the products I want to try in the Spring:
- Tocobo Bio Watery Sun Cream
- Instree Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sun Stick
- Round Lab Birch Moisturizing SunscreenÂ
- Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Cleanser
- Aestura Ato Barrier 365 Cream
- Beauty of Joseon Relief SunscreenÂ
- Kose Softymo Cleansing Oil
- KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Multi BalmÂ
Abib Heartleaf Spot Pad Calming Touch Toner PadsÂ
Makeup:
Now for makeup, I’ve been really into a fresh makeup look recently. So a lot of these products are what I want to try that I think will give me a natural blushy glow. Most of the makeup products that are being teased right now, or have been out for a little while have formulas or colors that I think would look really nice in the Spring. So here are my top picks for those products:Â
- lilybyred Beam Cheek BalmÂ
- CLIO Koshort in Seoul Limited Edition Pro Eye PaletteÂ
- Romand Bare Water Cushion (limited shade range as my shade is the darkest shade available)
- Romand Glasting Melting Balm (2 new unknown shades being teased on their socials)Peripera’s Tulipology Line (includes a new eyeshadow palette, 2 new matte lipsticks, new blushes, and new lip tints)
