Now don’t get me wrong, I love spending time with my family on Thanksgiving. After all, every year I end up having a lot of things to be thankful for and appreciative of. However, one of my favorite things about Thanksgiving is all the delicious food I get to eat with no judgment. It’s the one time a year where I can stuff myself until I can barely move. I’m sure a lot of you enjoy this same kind of feasting as well. Not only do I love the dinner portion of Thanksgiving, but the desserts are just as incredible. Although, this might be a little controversial as I don’t particularly like pie. Which I know what even is Thanksgiving without a pie? Here I am to tell you my personal rankings of the top three desserts for Thanksgiving.

  1. Cheesecake: If you don’t like cheesecake, well that’s unfortunate. I put it at the top because it can’t get any better than cheesecake with some cherry topping and whip cream. Mmm, it’s the absolute best.

  2. Peanut butter pie: If you haven’t tried this, then get on it ASAP. It’s absolutely delicious. I might even put this one above cheesecake if this ranking wasn’t about Thanksgiving. It’s rich and creamy, but not too overpowering or too filling.

  3. Lastly, pecan pie: I absolutely love pecans and pecan pie just feels like Fall in a dish. I also felt like this one is more known as a “real” pie compared to the other two desserts. As I said, I don’t particularly like pie.

For those of you that like apple or pumpkin pie, I don’t understand. I will never understand the liking of those or other types of pie like raspberry rhubarb pie or blueberry pie. No, just no. Anyway, I hope you all have a great and SAFE Thanksgiving and can spend it with people that you love. Of course, I hope you have all the food and desserts your heart and tummy desires too.
