NObama? What about MObama?
Yes, we know this election is currently coming to a close, and there is no way Michelle Obama can get on the election ballot, but that does not mean we can’t dream.
Mrs. Obama is a great role model, world leader, and likes to have fun. Here’s why we wish she was our next president:
She is an inspiration to young girls.
Mrs. Obama is an inspiration to lots of young girls around the world. She wants to empower women and help them reach their full potential. In 2015, Mr. and Mrs. Obama launched Let Girls Learn, a program set up to address the challenges preventing adolescent girls from attaining a education that empowers them to their full potential. The first lady also has spoken to young girls numerous times, telling them education is more important than dating and other things. Â
She has a great personality.
Mrs. Obama can be well-composed in a formal setting, but also knows when she can have fun. She is known for her hilarious talk show interviews and her legendary carpool karaoke appearance with James Corden.
She is dedicated to her White House role.
Mrs. Obama is the leader of the Let’s Move! Campaign, a program that aims to end childhood obesity and promotes an active lifestyle. The movement’s motives are: creating a healthy start for children, empowering parents and caregivers, providing healthy foods in schools, improving access to healthy, affordable foods, and increasing physical activity. Mrs. Obama also planted the White House Kitchen Garden, an organic garden which supplies the first family with the food for their meals. This is the first vegetable garden since Franklin Roosevelt’s presidency.
She is extremely smart.
Mrs. Obama is one of the most, if not the most, educated first lady to ever hold office. She was a part of the National Honor Society, which recognizes outstanding students for their achievements and leadership, in high school. Mrs. Obama also graduated Cum Laude from Princeton University where she majored in Sociology and minored in African-American Studies. She then moved on to Harvard Law School, earning a Juris Doctor degree.
She’s got style.
She would become our most fashionable president yet!
