Tommie Brazile is a junior at Lasell College with a major in Sports Communication. Hailing from Washington State, Brazile decided to pursue a career in sports communication due to his love of sports and his desire to constantly be surrounded by them.
“I want to stay around them because it intrigues me,” said Brazile. “The emotions in sports are different than anything else in the world and I want to be intertwined with those emotions every single day.”
Brazile and two other Lasell students have a radio show on current events in sports, broadcasted on Lasell College Radio at 11 p.m. on Friday nights. He will also be seen broadcasting Lasell home games live this spring.
In the future, Brazile hopes to one day use his Lasell education and experience to become a broadcaster for the Seattle Mariners or the Seattle Sonics. When he is not working on becoming a broadcaster for one of his favorite teams, Brazile  likes to play Xbox and play football and basketball with friends.
