Ladies, When did you join HerCampus Le Moyne?
Asiana: I joined late into my Freshamn year, maybe October 2011
Valerie: I joined Fall of my Freshman year 2011.
What made you want to join HerCampus Le Moyne?
Asiana: I’m really into magazines, I read them like good novels from Cosmopolitan to Reader Digest. So, the opportunity to be a part of a websites that write like a magazine was so awesome. I was so pumped to be apart of iy
Valerie: I fit right in because the group was communciations majors and they made me feel at home. Plus, it was a fun way to get involved.
What other stuff are you involved in?
Asiana Smith: Being a communciations major, I am a jack of many trades. I do Public Relations for two Le Moyne Clubs, B.O.N.D (a community service based group) and K-otic Acitivity( an emerging dance club). I am also a Resident Advisor to a mixed floor of freshmen, sophomores and juniors in St.Mary’s Hall, as well as a board member the Resident Advisor Avisory Board. I also something host radio shows at WLMU when I’m free.
Valerie: I’m involved in sandwich making, a group who help the homeless that goes to the soup kitchen by providing them with sandwiches.
Asiana and Valerie are both extremely hard working and without them this year at HC Le Moyne we would not have achieve Bronze Status and we peaked over a 1,000 views to our little website. Both ladies came from just being contributing writers to be now this year’s Campus Corresponent. Awesome !
