Christmas is coming, but taking a trip to Sephora is like Christmas itself! Here’s my mini haul and review on my quick trip to the North Pole aka Girl Heaven aka Sephora!
So first up is a cult favorite across all YouTubers: Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Yes, I caved and bought it. I tried it and it was incredible. Like why didn’t I try this forever ago?! I have long eyelashes to begin with, but this takes them to a whole new level of length. And the volume is amazing too. It’s not very waterproof, but once it runs it’s very easy to take off. The tube itself is a gorgeous metallic pink and the brush is described as “hour glass shaped” and hugs to every lash.
Next I picked up the Josie Maran Coconut Water Cheek Gelee in the color Pink Escape. This is literally perfection. I’ve used it with and without foundation and both looked so natural. It is a very sheer peachy pink that just adds a little bit of flushness to my cheeks. I have fair skin this time of year so I don’t like anything too opaque on my skin.
I also picked up another Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil UV Protectant Spray. This. Is. My. All. Time. Favorite. I have such thin hair. Rats nests are unavoidable and the only thing that can detangle my hair is this product. Not only does it detangle, but it also protects your hair from damage from hear or the UV rays of the sun.
Finally I got to pick my 100 point perk which this time was the new Glam Glow FlashMud. I tried it out and it was okay. I probably wouldn’t buy a whole jar of this, but I’ll use it up since it was free! Its purpose is to brighten, but I don’t really need brightening. The only part I found was useful was the mild exfoliation it gave.
