We all love great on-screen chemistry. Some of our favorite movies aren’t our favorites just because of the plot, but because of a convincing on-screen couple that adds extra emotion. We live vicariously through on-screen couples in our favorite tv series, and long for their happy ending when the film comes to a close. What if the on-screen fantasy lived past the end of the film? Here are some of our favorite on-screen couples IRL:
1. Mila Kunis + Ashton Kutcher We all rooted for Jackie and Kelso to work things out on That 70s Show (even though secretly we’re still team Jackie and Steven). Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher didn’t let us down in real life, the couple married in 2015 and are expecting their second child!
2. Emma Stone + Andrew Garfield
Everyone loves a superhero, right? Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield made us fall in love with them as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. In The Amazing Spider Man. Their on-screen chemistry carried on into real life. Unfortunately the two broke-up, but they’ve been rumored to be rekindling their relationship.
3. Alexis Bledel + Vincent Kartheiser You might remember her as Rory Gilmore, but Alexis Bledel and her husband, Vincent Kartheiser, were a steamy on screen affair. Kartheiser is well known for his role as Peter Campbell in Mad Men. Bledel played Beth Dawes, Campbell’s mistress during season 5. Although Beth didn’t choose to leave her husband for Pete on the show (spoiler alert), the two married in 2014, two years after Bledel’s spot on the show.
4. Channing Tatum + Jenna Dewan
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since this couple co-starred on the big screen in Step Up. Who would’ve thought Tyler and Nora would dance off the screen into real life? Tatum and Dewan are now married IRL and have a beautiful daughter together.
5. Emma Roberts + Evan Peters Many of us are team Taissa x Evan, but the real couple from the AHS franchise is Evan Peters and Emma Roberts. The two co-starred in Adult World, filmed here in Syracuse. The two were off for a bit, but are back on and we couldn’t love it more!
