1. Kim Kardashian Divorce – The biggest celebrity goss of the week was the announcement that Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce from basketball player Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage. Critics have accused the couple of using their marriage purely as a way of cashing in on the extensive fame of the Kardashian clan, since as the wedding itself earned them $18m from magazine deals, TV coverage and endorsements. However Kim has fought back with the statement: ‘I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned.’
2. Justin Bieber Love Child – It has been a tough week for the teenage superstar who has been faced with allegations from a female fan that he is the father to her 4 month old son. According to Mariah Yeater, 20, she and Bieber had sex backstage at one of his shows in LA, and has decided to file a lawsuit against him in order to gain financial support for the raising of the child. On an appearance on the Today Show in the states on Friday, Bieber insisted the accusation isn’t true and claimed that he had never met the woman. However, if the allegations are true, Yeater will be faced with an investigation into ‘statutory rape’ due to Bieber’s being underage.
3. New Bond Movie – A press conference in London this week confirmed the title of the new James Bond film to be ‘Skyfall’. Daniel Craig introduced his new bond girls at the launch as French actress Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris, and the film is to be directed by Sam Mendes who told reporters that the film has a ‘Fantastic Script’ with ‘a lot of surprises.’ The film is due to be released in the UK on 26th October 2012 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the first Bond movie ‘Dr No.’
4. Lindsey Lohan Back in Jail – Lohan was sentenced to a further 30 days in prison on Wednesday for violating her probation of previous offences, and was warned she could face a further 270 days behind bars if she breached her terms again. The star was however granted free until November 9th so that she is able to complete her nude photo shoot contract for Playboy. It has been said that due to overcrowding of the LA prison, Lohan may not even have to spend the night inside, but will still have to continue with her community service and a morgue.
5. Beyonce Expecting a Girl – Kelly Rowland let slip that her best friend, Beyonce Knowles is in fact pregnant with a girl in an interview with a US magazine. Beyonce had yet to reveal the sex of her baby since announcing she and husband Jay Z were expecting back in August, but is said to be thrilled to be having a daughter. The couple have apparently already started building a 2,200 square foot nursery for the baby’s arrival in February; she is going to be one very lucky little girl with those parents!

1. I’m a Celebrity Line Up – Love him or hate him, Mark Wright has been imperative to the success of The Only Way is Essex, so I was shocked to hear the rumour that he is quitting the show in order to appear on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get me out of here! in December. Since becoming a household name, Mark apparently wishes to ‘spread his wings and do more TV stuff.’ Also believed to be appearing on the show are Imogen Thomas and Simon Cowell’s side-kick Sinitta… although this is yet to be confirmed.
2. Sam and Billie Faiers – Sticking with the theme of Essex, sisters Sam and Billie paid the price of fame this week when they were viciously attacked by a girl gang on a night out, suffering black eyes, kicks and punches. The girls appeared on Friday’s show whilst in recovery, and since the assault, have had their locks changed and hired bodyguards for their safety.
3. Adele Throat Surgery – Soul singer Adele has been forced to cancel the remaining dates of her UK tour due to illness. The tour dates had already been postponed from September after the singer suffered from a severe cold, however ticket holders were further disappointed this week when she announced on her website that she had been recommended immediate throat surgery to prevent permanent damage to her vocal chords.
4. Stacey Solomon Pregnancy – At only 22, the reality TV star has announced that she is expecting a second child – and a sibling to her 3 year old son Zach. Stacey finished third on the X Factor in 2009, and is yet to release a single; having focussed her success on other projects such as being the face of the Iceland adverts and winning I’m a Celebrity last year.
5. Amy Winehouse Inquest – After months of speculation over the true cause of her death, a coroner recorded a verdict of misadventure at the inquest of her death which took place on Wednesday this week. Winehouse supposedly drank five-times over the drink-drive limit worth of vodka, which sent her body into a coma after having been t-total for the previous 3 months.

1. Westlife To Split Up – Being a massive boyband and cheese fan (a dedicated Fruity –goer), I was genuinely upset to hear that the Irish boy band are to split after 14 years together. The good news however is that they are doing one last tour in May before the boys go their own ways, I actually saw them in concert over the summer and truly had a ball!
2. Mariah’s Twins – Mariah Carey finally revealed her six month old twins Moroccan and Monroe to the world. They had their first glimpse of stardom on Barbara Walters’ TV show 20/20 in the states which aired this week. How cute are they!
3. Catherine Tate and Jason Orange – We all love a celebrity couple, but who’d have thought these two would get it together? It is rumoured that the couple have been on a few dates since meeting after Catherine Tate played the part of Jason in the spoof band ‘Fake That’ for BBC’s comic relief. They do say that you attracted to people who look like you!
4. Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton Split – It’s not been a great week for all celeb couples the week though as the ex-Pussycat Doll and her British racer boyfriend have decided to split after 4 years together. The couple have apparently been finding it difficult to make time for each other since Nicole became an X Factor judge in the US whilst Lewis tours the world with McLaren.
5. Original Sugababes Reforming – It’s hard to keep up with who is in and out of the Sugababes these days, but it has been rumoured that the original 3, that’s: Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy are demoing brand new material of their own. Bit confused about how this will work though, will they be called Sugababes 2.0?
