Halloween Party Playlist!
As Halloween is less than a week away, I thought what better time could there be to design a tailored playlist for you all. I know that a lot of you will be busy with costumes and finding decorations so I’m hoping this playlist will tick one thing off your to-do list and help you get in the Halloween mood! If you’re still struggling for ideas then there are so many posts on the Her Campus Website to help with inspiration; whether it be with costumes, makeup ideas or treats. Alternatively, if you’re staying at home this Halloween that’s still no excuse not to get involved as there are some incredible articles all about good movies and TV shows too! Sometimes, staying in for a movie night can be just as fun, one year me and my housemates stayed in and carved a pumpkin, decorated a gingerbread house and decided to have a movie marathon; it was so much fun!
Halloween is also the perfect excuse to just dress up and go to a few pubs with a few of your friends! I remember during my first year of my undergraduate degree, I went out with a group of friends for a walk around the city center and enjoyed seeing the array of costume choices. I remember seeing everything from the traditional witches and devils all the way to some guy dressed as Jesus. There were even some zombie costumes which had incredible special effects makeup on which brought their costumes to life and looked so realistic. There were just so many people who had worked so hard on their costumes (all of which had clearly paid off) and were enjoying a really fun and creative night out! It’s a great holiday which gives you the opportunity to have fun, to dress up as something or someone for a change and to do something different; no matter what your age.
To prepare I have researched several blogs and existing playlists to create the perfect compilation of songs! I have tried to add a range of music from Halloween classics to modern hits as well as a selection of iconic movie soundtrack favorites. So, whether you’re looking for a party playlist or something to listen to while getting ready, hopefully; this playlist should be everything you need!
