Why did you choose LIM to complete your graduate degree?Â
For a second chance. Fashion has always been a passion of mine, from an early age I always kew I wanted to do something paramount in the industry. I discovered LIM in the Summer of 2006 through the fashion summer lab. After taking two classed through the summer lab, I knew that this school would be my footstool to my career. Following that, I applied for an undergraduate program as an incoming freshman and was accepted. Per contra, I was afforded a full scholarship at the University of Maryland and because of my parents’ financial situation it was at the time more advantageous for me to accept the scholarship. However, I knew once completing my bachelors that LIM would be my school of choice for my graduate degree.
What has been your favorite moment of attending LIM?Â
Contributing to LIM activities such as Her Campus and The Lexington Line, allowing my voice to be heard and my thoughts to be read.
What do you hope to do post-grad?Â
I can only hope to get as much professional experience in the fashion industry as possible within the fields of publication, journalism, marketing, and public relations.
Do you have any advice for prospective students?Â
Always listen to and follow your first instinct!
What’s next for you?Â
To expand my knowledge of fashion and marketing; and continuing to grind hard to reach my ultimate goal.
