5 Funniest Moments From ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at LMU chapter.

As if 2020 couldn’t get any worse, the Kardashians have announced their iconic show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, will end after its 20th season — and I am not OK. Kim Kardashian took to Instagram on September 8th to announce the news with a “heavy heart.” She adds that the family will “forever cherish the wonderful memories.”

Whether you’re a Kardashian fan or not, Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been nothing short of a cultural milestone. The Kardashian-Jenner clan has let us in on the good, bad, and ugly, all while creating a billion-dollar empire, countless businesses, and some of the cutest kids I’ve ever seen. Their humor, intentional or not, is unmatched and has been the inspiration for some of our generations’ favorite memes and TikToks. So, in honor of its ending, let’s take a look back at the five funniest moments of the show’s seasons.

When Kim Lost Her Diamond Earring in the Ocean

When then-partner Chris Humphries throws Kim in the ocean on their trip to Bora Bora, Kim’s diamond earring goes missing. While hysterically crying over her loss, Kourtney, keeping it real as always, hits Kim with one of the show’s most-quotable lines: “Kim, there are people that are dying.”

Kim Taking Selfies as Khloé Heads to Jail

As the family was on their way to drop KhloĂ© off at jail to complete a short DUI sentence, Kim didn’t seem too worried. While taking selfies in the car, momager Kris pleads, “Kim, would you stop taking pictures of yourself? Your sister’s going to jail!”

ABCDEFG…

When Kourtney finished a difficult conversation with Scott, she succinctly ended it by saying, “ABCDEFG… I have to go.” The line is now popular to lip-sync on Tik Tok, although no one really knows what it means. But hey, it’s Kourtney’s world and we’re all just living in it!

YOU’RE Cute Jeans

Another TikTok favorite stems from the confusion that ensued when Kris tried to make sense of a Kendall compliment. When Kris said to her daughter, “Those are cute jeans,” Kendall replied, “You’re cute jeans.” A baffled Kris tries to figure out what Kendall meant — “your cute jeans”? or “you’re cute jeans”? Comedy gold.

When Kim Buys a Bentley

Kim was so excited to buy a Bentley, a symbol of her new fame and earning power, but her sisters were over it. The sisters argue at the dealership and Kim utters the words “jealous, psycho b*tches.” When Kim gets home, Khloe slams the door in her face, and an infuriated Kim swings at her with her purse. Sisterly love at its finest!
