1. Vista Kicks
Vista Kicks, formerly known as BABE, is the perfect band for kicking it with your friends and having a good time. This four-piece is from Sacramento, but they now live here in Los Angeles. Last month, they released their debut album “Booty Shakers Ball” in addition to their past two EPs. Some of my favorite songs by them are Mona Lisa, Make it Real, and Gotta Get Away.

2. The Zolas
The Zolas are a four-piece band from Vancouver, BC Canada. Each of their albums are a little different, with the first two albums using lots of piano and their most recent album including more electronic vibes. They have songs for every mood, from when you’re sad and need to chill out to when you’re out with your friends and need to get pumped up. My favorite songs by them are You’re Too Cool, Escape Artist, and Molotov Girls.

3. Wallows
This band only has three songs as of now, but they are extremely talented nonetheless. If anyone watched the Netflix Original 13 Reasons Why, you might recognize the lead singer Dylan Minnette, who plays Clay Jensen on the show. Their songs are so laid back and I’m excited for more new music to be released soon. My favorite song by them so far is Sun Tan.
