If you’re anything like me, then I know you love when you randomly come across some super cool art when scrolling on the explore page on Instagram. The only issue with it is that the moment doesn’t come often enough. At least not for me. Sure, laughing at memes and gawking at Instagram models is super entertaining, but the accounts I’m about to show you are the ones that take up all the space in my saved photos on Instagram. You should definitely follow these accounts if your trying to be creatively inspired.
I never expected to find such unadulterated bliss until I came across these vaguely melancholic stills from The Simpsons. Whoever says that animators aren’t the most detail-oriented breed of human is brutally mistaken. The curator(s) of this page needs to immediately get into cinematography, if they aren’t already.
The perfect balance between being sarcastic and witty. Marcella draws what every girl who has watched Daria can relate to. With self-deprecating jokes and thought-provoking one-liners, @marcella.draws captures what it is like to be a bored, 21st century woman.

André Fortes, the artist behind this page makes black and white images scream in your face. His detailed characters drawn with speech bubbles spewing phrases like “I have no authentic voice to silence or betray!” (my personal favorite), will bring out a fire in you that you didn’t know had.
4. @lianafinck
One of my personal favorites. This artist who draws for The New Yorker, uses words accompanied by ink drawn doodles as a platform to say literally whatever she wants. It’s inspiring. I won’t spoil it for you.
Is there a Simpsons theme here? Perhaps. But this isn’t propaganda, these are just really cool accounts. This page, run out of Sydney, Australia, captures some of the most beautiful lines of the show. I bet you’ve never looked at The Simpsons in this way.
Deadfacecomics, your new favorite comic from New Zealand, caters to something that everyone can relate to in one way or another. Their black and white prints make you wonder if maybe everyone is going through the exact same things as you.

When it comes to art, Bridget Trout does the exact opposite of “keeping it simple”. The brightly patterned images with startling interpretations of human faces will absolutely never get boring.
