My favorite part about studying abroad in London was having the ability to be exposed to so many different cultures, having new and exciting places to explore, and forming so many new and lifelong friendships.
I traveled to 15 different cities while abroad, but one of my favorite trips was to Salzburg, Austria, where I went on a Sound of Music tour with my friends. We got a private tour of the whole city were we visited the filming locations for the movie, got to make our own apple strudel, and sing a long to all the hits!Â
Being abroad was an amazing experience, and I would 100% recommend for everyone to go abroad. If I could go abroad again I would.Â

This past fall I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in London and I can honestly say it was one of the most valuable experiences of my life. Living and and interning in the city itself was really exciting; you will never run out of things to do in London.Â
The best part about being abroad was the opportunity for travel. I was lucky enough to visit twenty cities in ten countries: Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, France, Austria and Germany. It is safe to say that there was never a dull moment.Â
If anyone is able to study abroad, I would highly recommend it. It may seem a bit daunting to move across the globe for an entire semester, but once I was there, I never wanted to leave. Not only did I learn and travel, but I also grew as a person and met new, life-long friends from the amazing group of LMU students on my program.Â

As cliché as it sounds, studying in Bonn, Germany was the best decision I’ve made in college. I went with one close friend from LMU and ended up befriending roughly 20 kids from LMU that I had never even seen before. You’re thrown into this crazy out-of-your-comfort-zone experience that comes with so much freedom; you naturally latch on to anyone who is familiar and it turns out to be the best thing.
I became so much closer with girls in my sorority who also studied in Bonn, got the chance to see parts the world with my roommates who studied in London, and got to experience what it’s like to be a big sister while living with a German host family. I also saw David Beckham and Posh Spice at a chain restaurant in London, so Europe really is full of magic. Seeing the world is so important and I’ve been looking forward to studying abroad since I was in junior high.
I just can’t believe that I already did it and that it’s over now. Save your money, buy a ticket, and go somewhere. You won’t regret it. I went to 12 countries in 4 months and currently have $0 to my name, but I would go back tomorrow if I could.

· The more challenging an experience, the more rewarding it is.
· There will be slight bumps in the journey but that only makes the destination more worthwhile.
· Riding a camel in Morocco, experiencing Oktoberfest, seeing the Cliffs of Moher, going under the Colosseum, riding to the top of the Eiffel Tower, touring the Harry Potter studio, frolicking through Christmas markets, seeing old friends and making new ones, and so much more.
· Spending 4 years of savings, traveling to 13 countries in 4 months, and making countless memories was priceless.
