Los Angeles in known as the entertainment capital of the world, so it is no surprise that the nightlife here is some of the best you will find. Clubbing is a great way to hang out with friends while being able to get all dressed up, listen to great music, see a ton of celebrities, and party. While clubbing is definitely fun, it can be super dangerous if you are not with the right crowd, so before I go raving about my favorite clubs, I want to make it clear that you need to be responsible. I also want to make it clear that these are 21+ establishments and breaking the law to enter can result in consequences, so club at your own risk.
I have always been super into fashion, music, and pop culture, so upon moving to LA, I knew I would fall in love with going out. Being the night-owl that I am, I immediately started hitting up the clubs with friends. While I fell in love with it right away, I also began to make really good connections with people in the industries that I love; fashion, art, and pop culture. I have had the opportunity to network and meet and see many people that I admire such as G-Eazy, Chantel Jeffries, Halsey, and Justin Bieber. As a frequent party-goer, I decided to write about some of my favorite clubs in LA to give Her Campus readers a short list of some of the best places to go…
Â
1 OAK
Standing for One-of-a-Kind, 1 OAK is a Hollywood hotspot located on the iconic Sunset Strip. With live DJs and celebrity guests, 1 OAK is a place to see and be seen.
POPPY
With leaves and lanterns adorning the ceilings and velvet couches and seats, Poppy has no shortage of Insta-worthy decor and photo spots. The multiple-room club is super upbeat with some of the best celebrity guests and music. Poppy has A-List guests almost nightly, ranging from Drake to the Jenners and the Kardashians.

PEPPERMINT CLUB
The Peppermint Club is like entering a time capsule. With a vintage-y feel and a stage that can include both a DJ and live band, the Peppermint Club is the go-to spot for music lovers, as the music played is of such a diverse span.
DOHENY ROOM
The Doheny Room is a great spot to go out with friends. The first floor is more of a restaurant, while the second floor is where the DJ booth is located and has a club aesthetic. What’s so great about The Doheny Room is that it is a smaller, more intimate venue while still a really popular nightspot.
HYDE
Hyde Sunset is a restaurant and nightclub in the center of Hollywood. In the early evening it is a restaurant, while as the night progresses it becomes a nightclub. Portraits of some of the most famous faces hang on the walls, including that of Cindy Crawford and the Beatles. One of my favorite parts about Hyde is that they have a patio, which is perfect when you need some fresh air and an escape from the crowd or a look at the iconic Chateau Marmont located few doors over.

WARWICK
What I love most about Warwick is the theme. I would describe the theme as French Revolution Era, as there are very Marie Antoinette inspired couches and chandeliers and a neon sign that reads “Let Them Eat Cake.” Along with the unique theme, the club has great music and many celebrity guests.
While this is just a short list of some of my favorites, LA has so many unique and fun night spots that are fun every night of the week. The nightlife here is never dull.
