How can you get involved? Here are some easy tips for celebrating Earth Day and developing your green habits:
1. Turn the lights off when you can—try to rely on natural light during the day.
2. Turn off the water whenever you can! (ie: brushing your teeth, shaving your legs, letting your conditioner soak in, doing your dishes)
3. Use a reusable water bottle—this can also save you tons of money!
4. Go vegetarian for the day—(so much green..ha) raising livestock takes up a lot of water and land and releases much higher quantities of natural gas than is natural; going veggie for the day can definitely increase your green rep
5. Avoid disposable products such as paper plates, cups, utensils, towels, or napkins
6. Spread the message of Earth Day!
