An unfortunate part of being a freshman is sometimes you get put into overflow housing and live in something called a triple, meaning that there are thtrr roommates in a room usually fit for two people. It happened to me and the experience has been… interesting, to say the least.

When I first found out I was going to be in a triple, I was excited at the prospect of having two roommates because that meant I could make another friend!

But when I got to the room, I realized it was very small and I often felt like this:

It can also get really hot and we even though we have multiple fans going, it isn’t enough and the room can feel like a sauna.

Luckily, my dorm consists of all triples, so everyone else feels the same way about their living situations!

While it might be uncomfortable at times, the experience is teaching me to be more open and better at listening to the concerns of the people around me. Plus, I have an extra closet I can borrow clothes from!
