You’re an exchange student from El Salvador, how are you liking Chicago?

I love, love Chicago. I’ve always wanted to live in a big city like this.

What do you miss the most from back home?

The weather, friends and family, the beach, the mountains and how close-by everything is. Just being home.

Do you plan on going back after graduation?

I do. Sometime in the future. I don’t want to go back right after I graduate. I’d like to work in the States first, possibly get my master’s degree, then go back home and help with the family business.

If you could travel anywhere where would you go and why?

Greek Islands – mostly because I’ve never been. Also there’s this one cruise in the Amazon River that I’d love go on.

What does your Friday night usually look like?

It’s not really consistent, but ideally hang out with my girlfriend — drink wine and watch a movie/TV series or go for a drink with my friends/roommates.

Who is your celebrity crush?

Emma Watson has been my celebrity crush since forever. Since like I was 11!

How do you woo your girlfriend?

Oh God. Hahaha well I try to be genuine. Nothing fake. I try to pay attention to detail, and just hang out/go on dates with her a lot.

Congratulations on winning such a prestigious award as campus cutie! What will your girlfriend say?

I’m not sure! Somewhere between feeling somewhat proud of me in her own way — OR, she’ll laugh and tease me.
