It’s that time of the year again. Midterms just ended, the snow is melting, and college students are packing their bags to head to somewhere sunny and warm…most likely Florida. But here you are, stuck at home with absolutely nothing to do. Here are 3 ways to handle being stuck at home for spring break:
1. Netflix and Chill by Yourself There’s no better way to spend a break than to do absolutely nothing. Netflix is almost as good as laying on a hot beach and getting tan…almost. It’s okay to be lazy, that’s what breaks are for. This is probably the best option to having a great spring break that doesn’t cost money or actual physical movement.
2. Explore Your Local City Sure, you’ve spent almost your whole life in your home town. But sometimes it’s a good idea to take advantage of being home for break and exploring! Go to that one restaurant you’ve always wanted to try with your family, revisit your old high school and see some former teachers, or hang out with old friends!
3. Be Productive Being stuck at home means you have a lot of free time to get stuff done! Maybe try getting back in shape (I’ve been telling myself that I’ll do this for awhile), relax and read a classic book, or spend some much needed time with the family.
No matter what your plans are this break make sure to do one thing: relax! School isn’t in session and you finally have some time to yourself. Take advantage of it!
