Since you are a junior here at Loyola, is there any advice you would give the incoming freshmen?
Get involved early! Go and try new things and branch out to meet new people. Also, don’t be worried if you don’t decide on a major right away, there’s time to figure it out and be open to looking at new options.
What organizations are you involved in on campus?
I am on the Club Baseball team, a Manager for the Women’s Club Ice Hockey team and a Photographer for the Department of Fine and Performing Arts.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Go to class (super interesting, I know), then I usually have a practice or two for both of the Club teams I’m a part of and then I usually find time to hang out with my friends and finish homework.
After a long week of school, how do you like spending the weekend?
I’m usually at a series with the baseball or hockey team, but if not, my friends and I like to find cheap tickets to sporting events, like the Cubs or White Sox. I also like to spend time looking for new photograph ideas.
What is the most attractive personality trait you look for?
“I always look for someone with a good sense of humor. I like to joke around a lot and really like someone who can handle my jokes and who can make me laugh as well.”
What is your go to pick up line?
How you doin’?
What does your ideal date look like?
I like to take it pretty simple I guess, but also fun. A nice meal is always good, whatever time of day doesn’t matter to me, and maybe add a fun activity like going mini golfing or bowling. Just keep it interesting.
Finally, what do you like most about the social life at Loyola?
I like how easy it is to get involved in different organizations and activities. There always seems to be new events going on around campus that let you meet new people and see what makes Loyola unique.
