Students of Loyola: a take on the very exciting, emotional, and raw, “Humans of New York.” I want to capture the students at Loyola in a way that has not been done before. I want people’s joy and struggles to be out there, without forcing anything too much.
Meet Lauren Augustavo:
What are you most afraid of right now?
“Recently, something that has been constantly on my mind is whether or not I’m pursuing the right career path. I want to make sure it’s one I find interesting and I can use to impact others. I am also afraid that I will not be successful in the career I have chosen, and it’s my biggest fear to be stuck in a career that is not rewarding. My current major is international business. I am nervous to be stuck in a cubicle my entire life and I have never found business that interesting. Also, I am nervous that this career will not allow me to have an impact on the world. Right now, I have the ability to completely change my path in life and I feel overwhelmed. I just want to make sure that I’m setting myself up to be happy, and the possible failure in that freaks me out.”
