Cheetah Girls (group of 4)
Who wasn’t obsessed with The Cheetah Girls when they were little? This costume idea is perfect for a group of four. The amazon tracksuit linked below is super cute and comes in the colors everyone would need! There is yellow for Dorinda, blue for Aqua, pink for Galleria, and purple for Chanel. Topping this outfit off with a cute cheetah headband is the perfect touch. There are lots of options available online and we’ve included the link to a few Etsy headbands that would work perfectly. This costume is super simple but really fun and could even be worn outside of Halloween as loungewear, so it’s a good investment if you’ll wear it.

The Spice Girls (group of 5)
The spice girls are another really fun girl group idea for Halloween! Also, each Spice Girl has a very different style, so there is a good diversity among the group. For some of these looks, you might not even need to go out and buy anything. This makes the costumes super easy and of course, affordable. For baby spice, you’ll need is a cute pink dress, some white platform boots, and your hair in pigtails. For scary spice, wearing Mel B’s iconic cheetah print jumpsuit would work perfectly. Sporty spice’s outfit can be completed with a cute sweatpant, or athletic jogger and cropped tank, or a tracksuit. Of course, ginger spice’s costume is the United Kingdom’s flag on a dress. Posh spice’s outfit is good to go with a bodycon dress and a pair of fun heels.

Destiney’s Child (group of 3 or 4)
How could we mention girl groups without including Destiney’s Child? There are lots of routes you can take for costumes, depending on what clothes you have or if you want to buy new ones. The first option would be the cover of Survivor, which is coordinating silver and white outfits. For Kelly Rowland’s outfit, a silver zip-up jacket with white shorts completes her look. Michelle Williams’ outfit on the album cover is a white tank with silver pants. And lastly, Queen B in the middle can be seen wearing a silver square-neck top. The trio has also been known to wear black dresses together, like during their Super Bowl performance. Fifth Harmony (group of 4 or 5)
Since the last two groups are from the late 1990s and early 2000s, the next two girl group costume ideas will be about more recent groups. Fifth Harmony has been known for coordinating its outfits over the years. For one-color pieces, consider wearing all blue or black like they did on their 2015 Reflection Tour. Of course, copying a music video look is always an option. One that would be pretty distinct is the outfits from the Work From Home video, where everyone has construction-themed outfits. Pairing any of these outfits with a plastic microphone would also make it easier for people to tell that you’re dressed up as a girl group.

For the last girl group, we will be talking about Little Mix! Similar to Fifth Harmony, Little Mix was started on The X Factor.
