Newly Released Songs to Add to Your Playlist

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at LUM chapter.

Do you ever get sick of your Spotify playlists? Are you tired of hearing what feels like the same three songs on repeat when you’re listening to music?

Oftentimes, it can be difficult to find new music to listen to while cycling through artists and genres that are interesting, catchy, and fit within your music taste. While Spotify’s “Release Radar” is a helpful tool, the music (in my personal experience) can be random in terms of songs they suggest. I know for me, I have to be in a specific mood to want to broaden my taste.

Find yourself in the mood to try new music? I’ve got some for you!

I’ve compiled a list of a few different songs to listen to if you’re looking for catchy songs in a variety of genres with different artists. Some songs I’ve found have surged in popularity on apps like Instagram and TikTok due to their high rating and overall love by listeners. I’ve also included smaller artists on this list in case you’re looking to get involved with someone new this season. There’s so much variety in the music world today that finding a good song to put on your playlist is, often, very easy!

If you’re looking for new songs to refresh your playlist this Fall and Winter season, here’s a few newly released songs to consider adding to your Spotify blend!

  1. Houdini – Dua Lipa
  1. Killing Me – Conan Gray
  1. Feather (Spotify Single) – Sabrina Carpenter
  1. One Of Your Girls – Troye Sivan
  1. Afraid of Heights – boygenius
  1. Is It Over Now? – Taylor Swift
  1. Where Do All The Good Kids Go? – Maddie Zahm
  1. Normal People Things – Lovejoy
  1. My Love Mine All Mine – Mitski
  1. lacy – Olivia Rodrigo

I’ve created a link to this playlist here if you’re looking to listen to any of these through Spotify! I’ll also keep this running whenever I find new release favorites, so keep checking back to see more songs to consider loving.

Happy listening, and happy almost winter season!
