Marvel’s newest superhero movie is finally out! Fans were excited and anxious to see the film after the low rating score that Eternals received, which was nothing related to how amazing the movie was. Marvel went with a different path with Eternals, and they innovated the superhero world.
Eternal’s is marking a lot of firsts for Marvel. It is the first movie with a deaf superhero! Lauren Ridloff, who plays the speedster Makkari, did a terrific job on the big screen and made the whole world fell in love with her. Makkari and Drug (Barry Keoghan) got us all loving them and their bond. This is also the first Marvel movie that features so many characters from different nationalities and races. There was a character that different people could look up to and relate to. Marvel also had their first on-screen sex scene and first same-gender kiss scene. Due to the same gender kiss scene, Eternals has been banned in some countries. These countries are Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait. Eternals was banned in these countries as the movie included a same-sex relationship.
Every single actor in the movie did a fantastic job portraying their character. Each character was so unique that it was so hard to choose a favorite. Eternals has some well-known actors and some less known. The movie stars Angelina Jolie (Thena), Richard Madden (Ikaris), Gemma Chan (Sersi), Salma Hayek (Ajak), and many more. Harry Styles fans were super excited to see him joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Harry Styles appeared in the post-credit scene as Starfox, Thano’s brother. It has recently been announced that Harry has signed a five-movie deal with Marvel, so that we will be seeing a lot of him in future Marvel films.
Marvel did not disappoint with the visual effects. The cinematography and script were terrific. Eternals has a good balance of action, comedy, and drama; it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The Eternals will be back for a second movie, but till then, we will have to rewatch the first movie! You can watch it in theaters or wait till it is released on Disney Plus.
