As we all know the semester is coming to an end, so we have to make the most of it in all aspects. This means finishing off strong with good grades, making the most of the time left you have with your friends, and organizing your life to start packing up your dorm room. These things can be stressful as you are excited for a nice long break of school or you could be dreading the long three months of being away from your friends and your new life at college.Â
We may feel all burned out after a very long semester and not feeling motivated for class but we all have to keep going as these grades still do count. Continue to go to class even though you are probably tired at this point and try to do your best. Never forget that you can ask for help whenever you need it! You should try to be motivated by the break at the end and know that when that time comes you’ll be proud of what you have achieved and how far you have come.Â
A lot of people are struggling knowing that they’re not gonna be seeing their new college friends for at least three months. Some people may be excited deep down to get time to themselves and others and I think what are they gonna do for those three months. So make the most of going to the beach and doing fun things with your friends. This may be just hanging out in the dorm room or going out to eat, going to the movies or whatever it is you enjoy doing with your friends—even if it is doing cartwheels on the grass outside Freiburger. So fill your last four weeks at school with whatever makes you the happiest with your friends.Â
Also something very important is to not forget to be organized with packing all your stuff up and moving back home or wherever you’re going for the summer. By being organized in advance we can avoid large amounts of stress. By doing this you can maximize your time to spend with friends if you plan in advance.Â
I am sure all of us are very excited to get a break and to be back at home or traveling rather than worrying about class and schoolwork. This time over the summer will allow us to regroup and enjoy time to ourselves so we can come back with a nice clear open mind and ready to start the new school year.Â
