This year there were tons of celebrities celebrating the spooky season by dressing up with their friends, by themselves, or even with their boos. And these weren’t your typical ghost and witch costumes. These stars went all out, and some even did multiple costumes filled with makeup and accessories. I hope your favorite was on this list, mine definitely was!Â
- Heidi Klum as a peacock
This might just be the craziest costume- both you and me- have ever seen. Not only was it completed with a beak, glitter, velvet, and sequences, but she also had 10 other people as her feathers. I have never ever seen a Halloween costume, other than couple costumes of course, that involved other people as another character or prop. To see it for yourself, click here.Â
- Kim Kardashian and North West as Cher and Dionne from Clueless
Now this one is just cute! I am not a huge fan of Kim, or any of the Kardashians for that matter, but when I saw this, I now understand why people rave over Kim and North. Kim’s costume was Cher from Clueless accompanied by North as Dionne. Talk about the ultimate mother-daughter duo. To see it for yourself, click here.Â
- Dwayne Johnson as David Beckham
I don’t really follow sports so I had to do a little research for this one. Overall, I think Dwayne Johnson nailed this one with the iconic red shirt and wig. I saw his Instagram pictures, and I think he nailed it! Beckham, himself, even reposted Johnson’s pictures to his own Instagram. To see it for yourself, click here.Â
- Taylor and Tay Lautner as Timothée Chalamet and Pete Davidson
Now this one was just plain funny! If you don’t remember, or even saw, the iconic Saturday Night Live sketch of TimothĂ©e Chalamet and Pete Davidson acting as two Soundcloud rappers, click here, it’s pretty funny. Anyways, Taylor and Tay (as he is now known) pulled this off completely and even stayed in character as the rappers in a funny Instagram video. To see the video, click here.Â
- Zayn Malik as Voldemort
Zayn, yes that Zayn from One Direction, is totally unrecognizable from his Instagram picture he posted. His costume is completed with the iconic nose. I especially loved the eye shadow for a dramatic look to make it look more like who shall not be named! To see it for yourself, click here.
- Rosalia as Bjork
Rosalia copied Bjork’s iconic Academy Awards outfit from 2001. You might recognize this outfit from an episode of Hannah Montana where Miley wears the same thing, and shows off her unshaved armpits. Even though I do not know who Rosalia is, I think she did a great job at pulling off this look. To see it for yourself, click here.Â
- Mariah Carey as Jessica Rabbit
I feel like every year someone dresses up as Jessica Rabbit and they never disappoint. Mariah was looking stunning in her red dress and purple leather gloves. In her Instagram picture, she even completed the look by standing in Jessica’s signature pose. To see it for yourself, click here. Â
- Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
Talk about a pop culture moment! Again, I feel that every year someone always copies a costume to look like a recent moment in pop culture. This year it was Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Swifties, you’ll wanna see this one. To see it for yourself, click here.Â
- Sara Haines as Carl Fredricksen from Up
Now, in my opinion, I think this one takes the cake. Sara completed the look with a wig, glasses, and even a fake nose just like Carl’s from the movie. Just like Zayn’s costume, she was unrecognizable and still looked fantastic! To see it for yourself, click here.Â
- Saweetie as Edward ScissorhandsÂ
Saweetie did an amazing job as Edward Scissorhands, especially with having long fake nails as the scissorhands. The dress she wore was full of details that, when all together, made the dress look amazing as well. To see it for yourself, click here.Â
Looks like everyone in the celebrity world really gave it their all this year for Halloween! My favorite from the website, even though I didn’t list it, was Paris Hilton as Britney Spears from the Toxic music video. It was an icon dressed as another y2k icon. I hope you had a great Halloween and are excited to see next years costumes!
