Did you know that the first 5 seconds are what convinces a person to follow you or not? If you find yourself in the position where you wish to grow your Instagram, but you don’t know where to start, here are some tips and tricks on how to boost your platform organically:

Update Your Bio

Think of your Instagram bio as what represents you. What will people find on your platform? Write something that describes you and what you want people to identify you by. Such as adding keywords, descriptive words, line-breaks, emojis, or even a strong call to action. You may also include a link in your bio to showcase your branding. For example, if you have a youtube channel, you should include the link in your bio so that people can explore your other platform.

Upload Reels

Reels have become the new trend on Instagram. Posting reels frequently is an excellent way to put your profile out there so people can discover you. It is definitely a good way to start. But you may ask yourself, what kind of reels could I post? The right reel depends on the kind of content you frequently showcase. For example, if you are into exercising and a healthy lifestyle, people may find it interesting for you to post easy routines or recipes for a healthier life.

Create Shareable Content

Don’t just post to post. The key is to give value to your profile. Think of what kind of value you are providing to your followers. Create content that people can relate to. For example, showcasing a lifestyle that people might feel reflective and willing to adhere.

 Write Authentic Valuable Captions

When you post a picture, reflect on what you can say that may impact your audience. Nowadays, people are seeking to learn more about you and what you can share with them. When you are writing a caption, think of the qualities and values you want to embody. Consider the length of your caption and place the most important words at the beginning.

Go Live

Going live is a great way to drive engagement. Use this to your advantage and go live frequently. Partnering up with someone else to go live is also a great way to put your profile out there. Now Instagram has the option of going live with multiple people so that you can take advantage of this!

Collaborate With Others

Create and share content that involves other people. This allows you to grow your following as others share your content, and their followers can become your new followers. Collaborating with others include making content, doing a live together, and partnering up for giveaways.

Organize Your Feed

Your feed is crucial to attracting followers. You must have an Instagram theme that goes along with your personality. Although, be sure that what you share is worthy. Choose the right tones that will make your feed cohesive. Presets are a great way to do this.

Post Consistently

Finally, you must post every day if you want to increase your followers. This will strengthen your profile and will help you build loyal followers. Bonus tip: be yourself. People don’t look for perfection, they need others they can relate to. In the real world we aren’t always good-looking or having a great day. As humans we all have bad days, it is acceptable that we look exhausted or sick. Show up every single day, even on the bad ones, and you will create an unbreakable bond with your audience.

If you start incorporating some of these tips and are consistent about it, you will see successful results! Remember, don’t stress out, be intentional, and demonstrate to the world who you are.
