Here at Her Campus, I have written plenty of times about my love for both the Monster High and Bratz doll lines. Within the Bratz company, there have been so many doll lines created by them over the past two decades and as a doll collector, there are the ones I really love. These are my absolute favorites either because of their outfit, the aesthetic of the doll line, or their screening- that’s what in the doll world, we call their face. Currently, I only have two Bratz dolls, basic Yasmin and basic Jade, and got them when they were released for the 20th Anniversary of Bratz summer 2021. Today I have put together a top 10 list of the Bratz dolls I would like to add to my collection. I will be starting from the top with my #1 doll and ending with my least favorite.

  1. Genie Magic Cloe

I absolutely love the Genie Magic line from 2006. Each doll in the line captures the flair with exotic clothing with their head pieces, flowy skirts, and gold accents. Out of all of the dolls in this line, I believe that Cloe is the prettiest because of her screening, hair, and the colors of her outfit. She also comes with a bracelet for girls, a 8 ball-like fortune teller, and even has henna tattoos on her feet. Hope one day I get to buy her as she is at the top of my list.

  1. Genie Magic Jade

Staying in the Genie Magic line, another favorite of mine is Jade for the same reasons I love Cloe. I love her for her hairstyle, screening, and accessories. Jade comes with these cute gold earrings and her henna tattoos on both of her hands and arm. Overall, she just wows me and is just so stunning.

  1. Sunkissed Summer Sasha

Sunkissed Summer was the second beach themed line for the brand and came out in 2004. The gimmick with this line is that they are all tan, making their skintone a little darker. Also, this was the first line to come out with the dolls having bare feet which was a big deal at the time. I love Sasha specifically because of her screening. To me, it is similar to her Flashback Fever screening which we will get into later. Just the way her eyebrows, lips, and eyes look makes me feel nostalgic for the early days of Bratz.

  1. Girls Nite Out Cloe

Girls Nite Out is making a return for Bratz’s 21st birthday and it totally makes sense why! The outfits are very fun, flirty, and elegant. Originally having 3 outfits, the dolls came with a dress to hit the dancefloor in, and two shirt and jeans combos. For the 21st anniversary, they only come with their dress, and one other of the original outfits. The gimmick with these dolls is that they have “real” eyelashes and body glitter. Cloe is my favorite because of her screening and complex hair style completed with braids and crimped pieces. For the rerelease, they are being sold for $36.99 instead of $24.99 like the basic ones were. Right now, she is at the top of my list and I am totally obsessed!

  1. Girls Really Rock Cloe/Jade

My pick for number five is a tie between Cloe and Jade, both from the Girls Really Rock line from 2008. I was looking at both dolls online and just couldn’t pick one. I love Cloe because of her smokey-eye makeup, hair, hat, and cute outfit. I love Jade because of her cute hairstyle and colors of her outfits. These dolls came with their own guitar, mic, and a second instrument. Also, this isn’t the only rock line they had- they also had more of a rockstar-esque one and punk one. I really love how Bratz can come up with a concept and find a way to reuse it, catering to different niches.

  1. Treasures Roxxi

I love Roxxi from the Treasures line because of how pretty her screening is with her dark makeup. I love how they put little black braids in her red hair. I also love the white that comes with the dress she wears in her first outfit, as well as her shirt in her second outfit. Each doll came with a treasure chest that included a bracelet for girls. Overall, I just love her edgy vibes and I really want her in my collection!

  1. Flashback Fever Sasha

My second Sasha pick on the list is from the Flashback Fever line. Like mentioned before, I love her screening, especially her eyes with how they look like they are sparkling. I love her dress in her first outfit because it looks so formal and elegant. With her second outfit, I just loved everything she had- from her gold pants, hat, and earrings. I also loved her second shirt in her second outfit which was off the shoulder.

  1. Princess Roxxi

Within the Bratz community, just the Princess line’s commercial gets a lot of hype and is loved by everyone. In the line, they still focus on the sass and style of Bratz and each doll has a fun look and comes with a dress, and a jeans/top combo along with a coat for their second outfit. Each of the doll’s screenings are great, but I think Roxxi’s is the best. I love the colors of her dress with the black and seafoam green and how it goes great with her red hair. I really want Bratz to re release this line but I’m afraid it will be too expensive. Hopefully one day I will get her as she is always in the back of my mind when it comes to Bratz.

  1. Ooh La La Kumi

As a part of their return, Bratz recently announced that they are releasing a “series 2” of multiple dolls from different lines selling for $23.99 on Amazon. These include Wild Wild West Kiana, Ooh La La Kumi, Xpress it! Meygan, Formal Funk Nevra, and basic Dylan. I was super excited when I found out because Kumi was already on my list of dolls I want, along with the other two dolls that come in the line- Cloe, and Dana. The Ooh La La line came with an evening dress and a fun outfit to wear during the day. I really find this line unique though because it also included shopping bags for the dolls along with a lip gloss for girls. I can’t wait to get her!

  1. Treasures Cloe

Treasures Cloe was one of the first Bratz dolls I saw when I started to collect them in the summer of 2021. For a while she was my favorite because of the colors in her outfits and her eyes. Cloe is great but she is at the bottom of my list just because of the fact that there are so many other dolls that I think are prettier than she is and her screening seems off to me.

I have a long list of “Bratz” dolls I want to have in my collection and these are just half! It was very hard to come up with because I know each doll and line is great in its own way and has something to bring to the table, whether it’s a cute outfit, aesthetic, or something nostalgic. I hope to see Bratz re-releasing more iconic lines in the future and wish that I can buy the dolls on this list. For now, I am very excited to get Kumi and Cloe! Can’t wait!
