It’s that time of year again when we all pretend we like Guinness and wonder how we have so little green in our wardrobes. That’s right, St. Patrick’s Day is coming up on March 17th. Here are some of the best events around Manchester.
March 16th
- Alternative St Pat’s Day Party! Ft. Loud ‘Irish’ Noises at Matt and Phred’s: From 9.30pm to 12.30am, Matt and Phred’s will tranform into an Irish themed wonderland, playing the biggest songs from Irish bands such as Boyzone, Westlife and The Pogues.
- St. Patrick’s Day All Nighter at The Venue: From 10.30pm to 6am, The Venue will help you bring in St. Patrick’s Day with drinking and music. And, with tickets costing just £2.50 and drinks from £2, it definitely won’t break the bank.
- Discoteca: Paddy’s Party Special! at 256: Discoteca presents music with an ‘Irish twist’ and Irish decor to get everyone in the spirit for St. Patrick’s Day, complete with cheap tickets and drinks.
- St. Pat’s Day Special at Factory 251: Factory’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations will run 11pm-4am and is offering a free shot to anyone who attends in Irish themed fancy dress.
March 17th
- Bongo’s Bingo St. Patrick’s Day Special at Albert Hall: Bongo’s Bingo are back 12pm-5pm for a special St. Patrick’s Day event with classic Irish hits playing all afternoon and special guests, Keith Duffy (Boyzone) and Brian McFadden (Westlife).
- St. Patrick’s Day Party at O’Shea’s Irish Bar: What better way to spend St. Patrick’s Day than at an Irish bar? Celebrations start at 7.30pm with live music from Green Hot Clover.
- St. Patrick’s Day Comedy Special at Frog and Bucket Comedy Club: For those looking for laughs this St. Patricks Day, the Frog and Bucket have a line up of three Irish comedians who’ll be performing from 7pm to 11pm.
- St. Patrick’s All Dayer at 256: Open from 12pm to 2am, 256 will celebrate St. Paddy’s with a BBQ, giveaways and free entry all day long.
- St. Paddy’s Day Drag Brunch at All Star Lanes: From 1pm to 4pm, All Star Lanes present brunch with drag perforamances and a 2-hour serving of bottomless alcohol.
