As finals begin to take over our lives, it seems that we will never dig ourselves out from the piles of work on top of our desks. Whether you’re up to your eyeballs in differential equations problems, perfecting a 10 page British Literature paper or furiously making flashcards to ace your Biochemistry final, its safe to say that students are swamped. It’s the dreaded “Crunch time” as students are desperate to get all of their studying done but face outside temptations like Netflix, napping and quadding. Fear not, Jaspers! Soon it will be summer which means lazy days by the pool and the time to read something you won’t be quizzed on! In the mean time, here are some great, underappreciated spots on campus to get your last minute studying in during finals week!
1) Â Everyone’s favorite tree on campus is actually a great place to get some reading down. Sit underneath it in the shade or head just a few steps over to the mini quad and benches which are generally much quieter than the main Quad.Â
Â
2) The library is notoriously packed during finals week and it can be difficult to find a peaceful spot amongst equally stressed students from every major. If you’re not fortuante enough to  get a study room, head to the back of the 5th floor where there are some under the radar tables and cubicles.
3) While normally bustling during the weekdays, the Raymond Kelly Student Commons gets pretty quiet nights and weekends. Head down to the bottom floor for some Starbucks and studying.Â
