Easy College Cooking: Valentine’s Day Desserts

Holidays, for most people, are occasions where you get to spend time celebrating with your family and friends. However, for foodies, it means pans and trays in the oven, bowls full of butter, and flour all over the floor.

I’m all for being lazy in college, but boxed chocolates are way too overplayed. While the cliche is the tempting route when you are living in college, these easy desserts will make you change your mind. (Serving sizes do not exist on holidays, anyways).

When you are in the early stages of a relationship, Valentine’s Day is the most awkward holiday. The gift situation is weird, the hallmark or homemade debate is stressful, and everything else in between is over all terrible. At the end of the day, the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but if you actually find the CVS flashing heart headbands adorable, these pink and red desserts are for you.
