It just takes a few steps on the Manhattan College campus before you see one of the many breathtaking views it has to offer. Before entering the Mary Alice and Tom O’Malley Library, everyone has the chance to make a quick right and walk through the doors of the Internet Cafe. Here, you will see the beautiful New York City skyline that our campus provides. Whether it be sitting on the terrace having a cup of coffee along with doing some homework, or taking advantage of the quiet time to read a book, getting work done out on the terrace is quite a breeze. The atmosphere of the library provides students with a great ambiance as tranquility and quietness fill the air. With the O’Malley Library being open 24/7 and giving students access to the over two hundred and thirty thousand volumes of books, more than one hundred computers, and 16 study rooms, any assignment seems almost impossible to avoid. Although the city can be noisy and busy just about all the time, overhearing cars and loud horns is just a reminder that our tight-knit campus is a part of the great city that never sleeps. The amount of opportunities New York City has to offer are endless, and being a part of the Manhattan College community helps you get out there, and jumpstart your way to the road of success. So, if you plan on spending any time in or near the library soon, check out the terrace just outside of the Internet Cafe, it is guaranteed to take your breath away.
