HC: Where are you from?
Jacquie: Staten Island NYÂ
Â
HC: Any hobbies?
Jacquie: Indeed, I run track, cross country, and enjoy playing frisbee.Â
Â
HC: Why did you choose Manhattan College?
Jacquie: I chose Manhattan College because the coach offered me a spot on the team and my sister goes here and really loves it. I also really like being close to the city.Â
Â
HC: What is your favorite part about the school?
Jacquie: My favorite part about Manhattan is probably the people.. They’re always fit for a good time and up to do something spontaneous. They can party hard and also get good grades, which is the ideal type of people you want to surround yourself with in college.
Â
HC: Where can we usually find you on campus?
Jacquie: You can find me at Lockes Loft, most of the time for at least 3 hours per visit, eating Lucky Charms and French Fries.
Â
HC: What’s your favorite place to eat off-campus?
Jacquie: Probably Salvatores of Soho, because it gives you a good taste of real New York Italian food.
Â
HC: What is your dream job?
Jacquie: My dream job would probably be a trauma surgeon.
Â
HC: What’s your ideal date?
Jacquie: My ideal date is ordering a cheese pizza with a nice bottle of white wine on the side, and watching a sweet action movie in our pajamas.
Â
HC: What do you look for in someone?
Jacquie: I definitely look for a sense of humor and intelligence.. And someone with some type of athleticism, too.
Â
HC: What’s something interesting about you most people don’t know?
Jacquie: Most people probably don’t know, but I almost attended a different college, just so I could play on an ultimate frisbee team.
Â
HC: If you could give one piece of advice to kids still in high school, what would it be?
Jacquie: I would tell the kids in high school that whatever is happening in your life right now is literally going to be irrelevant in a few months, so just deal with it and toughen up.
